NEW: R&D punches for precise upscaling

Upscaling between small size laboratory tablet presses and production machines is still not completely discovered, nor are all background facts known so far.

Quite often the R&D team has to face complaints from the production, about the accuracy of lab results, which is not enough properly transferrable to production scale.

One of the main reasons are the deviating values of dwell times between lab and production machines, caused by lower circumference speed of the die table, which can differ up to 2,5 times at same RPM.

kg-pharma focused on this problem and is now able to present a solution, which bases on a special designed punch head.

This punch head makes it possible to cut the dwell times nearly to half of the initial value at same rotation speed.

The R&D tools are available from now on, exclusive for our Luxner tablet presses, as well as other brands like e.g. Fette, Riva, Ronchi, Fette, IMA/Kilian which uses EU B or D standard tools.

Whilst the big punch tool manufacturer ask for additional prices for small punch series, we have specialized on this and are able to offer you very competitive pricing on our R&D tools.
